ROCK PHYSICS MODEL LIBRARY
ENTERdb is a unique searchable database for models and workflows used in modelling, QC or analysis on well log data. ENTERdb is also available for customers through third-party integration on demand.
HISTORY
Rock Physics Technology was founded in 2014 by Tor Arne Johansen and Erling Hugo Jensen, together with Bergen Technology Transfer Office (BTO) acting on behalf of the University of Bergen.
Serving as a catalyst for the founding was strong industrial interest for the Inverse Rock Physics Modelling method that had been researched and developed at the University of Bergen for more than 10 years, lead by Tor Arne and Erling.
In Autumn 2017 the Norwegian venture capital fund NIK IV, managed by Televenture Management, acquired BTO’s shares in Rock Physics Technology with ambition to establish the company as a global provider of quantitative interpretation and rock physics software and services.
