Description

Storegga Geotechnologies exists to champion and deliver carbon storage (CCS), hydrogen and other subsurface renewable projects in the UK and internationally.

As an independent player, Storegga is able to de-risk and execute these energy transition projects at lower cost and at faster pace. This enables the company to deliver the environmental and societal benefits to support carbon net zero targets earlier, driving superior shareholder returns.

In July 2020 Storegga and Pale Blue Dot Energy joined forces. Pale Blue Dot is the lead developer of the Acorn CCS Project and the Acorn Hydrogen Project in North East Scotland. Acorn is presently positioned to be the UK’s first, cost-efficient and scalable carbon capture and storage project.

Storegga has received initial investment from Macquarie Bank Ltd, a global investor in energy transition and infrastructure projects.
