Energy World Corporation Limited (EWC) is an independent, integrated energy company primarily engaged in the production and sale of power and natural gas. In power generation, we own and operate two gas-fired power plants that are located in Sengkang, South Sulawesi, Indonesia and in Alice Springs, Northern Territory Australia. EWC gas interests comprise interests in the Sengkang Contract Area in South Sulawesi, Indonesia and also interests in various gas fields in the Australian state of Queensland.
The focus of EWC's future development is on the expansion of LNG business. Natural gas transported to end markets in Asia in the form of LNG, is likely to be an increasingly important energy source given Asia's growing energy requirements and the environmental advantages of natural gas as a comparatively clean fossil fuel.
