Making Waves was founded by Tracey Dancy, who began her oil industry career with Paras Consulting in 2005, working with the ITracey Dancy smallrish Government on promoting their offshore opportunities. After a successful rebrand, Paras was acquired in 2008 by RPS Energy. During this time Tracey continued in her role as Marketing Director for PETEX, and Western Europe Region Lead for Energistics, widening her experience across the upstream sector.

After 3 years with RPS, in January of 2012, Tracey moved on to start Dancy Dynamics, believing there was room for specialist marketing services within Oil and Gas. Four years on and Dancy Dynamics has grown into a company that now works not only in oil and gas, but has expanded into renewable energy, marine and other technology and knowledge rich industries.  

Making Waves was created to enable that expansion into new and exciting growth industries.  Tracey is currently serving on the PESGB Council, as Executive Director for the PESGB Magazine.
