Canadian Global Exploration Forum (CGEF) is the only registered Canadian organization that serves and promotes Canadian based international oil and gas Exploration and Production companies. Currently, CGEF has 36 members (individual exploration companies, affiliated individuals and affiliated service companies) exploring in 58 countries. The Group also includes 8 corporate affiliates and 2 affiliated societies.

CGEF identifies opportunities for Canadian based member companies in foreign markets and is the "link" between members and the service industry and governments. CGEF also identifies opportunities for members to engage with foreign markets and provides the link between their members, lawyers, and accountants who are familiar with the fiscal regimes and the legal systems abroad so that member companies are better prepared to succeed with their own businesses.

CGEF members also have networking opportunities during our luncheons (six events per year) and at the annual conference held in the fall. From time to time CGEF will also organize special events on topics that are of interest to their membership.
