Founded in 1996, Finerge is currently one of the market leaders in the production of wind energy in Portugal, having all the knowledge for the development (since the design phase), construction and operation of wind power plants.
As a producer of renewable energy, the Finerge Group works to be a leader in sustainable development, while managing a successful business.
The company operates 53 wind farms and 16 solar parks, in more than 46 municipalities in Portugal and 3 provinces in Spain. There are more than 700 wind turbines and thousands of photovoltaic modules that collect energy from the wind and capture energy from the sun, transforming these energy sources into clean electricity. More precisely, 3,200 GWh of energy produced that prevents the emission of 1,801 kton of CO2 into the atmosphere.
In addition to the construction and operation of wind farms, Finerge has, since 2007, a Dispatch Center that monitors all wind farms in activity.
