Chariot

Description

Chariot is an African focused transitional energy group with two business streams, Transitional Gas and Power.

Chariot aims to be a provider of cleaner energy across the African continent via the Company’s Transitional Gas and Transitional Power business streams.

The Anchois Gas Development Project, operating under the Transitional Gas business, is a high value, low risk gas development project with strong ESG credentials in a fast-growing emerging economy with a clear route to early monetisation, delivery of free cashflow and material exploration upside.

The Essakane Project, a hybrid solar-thermal power solution project that runs through Chariot’s new Transitional Power stream, is an example of project that aims to transform the energy market for mining operations in Africa, providing a giant largely untapped market with cleaner, sustainable, and more reliable power.

Chariot is focused on transitional energy projects across the continent of Africa.

Africa is the only continent where population is expected to grow significantly from 1 billion to approximately 2 billion people in the next 20 years; the demand for energy which is both clean and sustainable will also grow.

Chariot has seen the opportunity to help meet this demand; the Company are well placed to support the communities across Africa through delivery of transitional energy, via Transitional Gas and Transitional Power.

Transitional Gas is a gas business geared towards supplying domestic gas to African countries, relieving their communities from dependency on energy imports, thereby lowering import bills and promoting self-sufficiency.

Transitional Power is a hybrid renewable energy developer and independent power producer. Through an ongoing strategic partnership with Total Eren, part of TotalEnergies group, clean energy can be provided to mining companies and industrial companies across Africa.

The ordinary shares of Chariot are admitted to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange under the symbol ‘CHAR’.
