Decklar

Description

Decklar is an independent international oil & gas company focused on low-risk appraisal and development opportunities in the prolific West African region.

The Company was initially established to develop mining opportunities in Vietnam and, over the past decade, focused on the development of the Ban Phuc Project in northwestern Vietnam. The Ban Phuc Project was a massive sulphide nickel resource located 160 km west of Hanoi in Son La Province. The Company sold its interest in the asset in 2018.

In 2019, the company announced an agreement to acquire privately-held Decklar Petroleum Limited, which holds an economic interest in the Oza Oil Field in Nigeria.

In 2020, the name of the Company was changed from Asian Mineral Resources Ltd. to Decklar Resources Inc. to reflect this strategic shift to focus on appraisal and development opportunities in West Africa.
