Greencoat Renewables is an investor in euro-denominated renewable energy infrastructure assets. Initially focused solely on the acquisition and management of operating wind farms in Ireland, the Company is now also investing in wind and solar assets in certain other Northern European countries with stable and robust renewable energy frameworks. It is managed by Greencoat Capital LLP, an experienced investment manager in the listed renewable energy infrastructure sector.

Focussed Investment Policy: Initially invested solely in operational wind farms in Ireland, the company is now targeting expansion into wind and solar assets in certain other Northern European countries with stable and robust renewable energy policies.

Stable and Supportive Regulatory Regimes: The Company’s core Irish portfolio benefits from the longstanding Irish regulatory regime, guaranteeing an index-linked floor to the power price for 15 years. The Company expects to maintain a high proportion of contracted revenues in its portfolio, and its continental European expansion is focusing on countries with similarly robust frameworks, namely: Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

Quality Portfolio: 538MW Irish operating portfolio, providing the Company with an established income stream.

Compelling Growth Opportunity: Across Ireland and its targeted jurisdictions in continental Europe, the Company expects over 400GW of renewable capacity to be in operation by 2030. The company has strong relationships with many of the major counterparties and developers throughout Europe and sees and a compelling opportunity for acquisitions and aggregation.
