Description

Ping Petroleum Limited was incorporated in Bermuda in 2012 with operating offices in Malaysia and Texas. Ping Petroleum is a privately held, independent upstream company, focused on shallow water offshore production and development opportunities in South East Asia and the North Sea.

In June 2021, Dagang NeXchange Berhad (“DNeX”) received approval from shareholders for the company’s proposed acquisition of an additional 60 per cent stake in Ping Petroleum not owned by DNeX for USD78.0 million (RM314.3 million). Upon completion of the exercise, DNeX will own 90 per cent of Ping.
