Kana Consultants is a leading supplier of geological personnel to the upstream oil and gas business. Kana have been supplying geological personnel since 1987. The Kana name was derived from the “Kana Volcanics” formation in the South Sepik Region of Papua New Guinea while carrying out a field mapping project in the area. Kana is now a worldwide focused company supplying high caliber geological and engineering consultants with experience in over 55 countries.
The Company operate globally but operations are based in Singapore where their regional office at Suntec City supports an expanding worldwide business.
Kana have a business representative in Perth Australia, and a business development representative in London together with a UK entity, to support field operations and to market to their clients.
The Company's expertise lies in providing experienced geological, petrophysical and geophysical consultants to upstream exploration projects particularly in the South East Asian, East Asian and Indian Sub Continent Regions, but also in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and South and Central America.
Kana have developed a core team of experienced Operations/Wellsite Geologists, Geophysicists, Petrophysicists, Development Geologists, Reservoir Engineers, QAQC consultants, Pore pressure experts and Explorationists, together with consultants in many other disciplines applicable to the upstream oil and gas industry.
