Lion Energy Limited is an ASX listed oil & gas exploration & production company focused on Indonesia, where it has been operating since 1999. As the world 4th most populous country with rapidly growing energy demand, combined with declining conventional oil and gas reserves and increasing gas prices, the rationale for investment in the Indonesian oil and gas sector is compelling.

Lion has two existing conventional Production Sharing Contracts (PSC’s) – Seram (currently producing ~75 bopd net to Lion) and South Block A, where the company had the Amanah Timur discovery in 2017, rights to an exciting conventional oil and gas area in Eastern Indonesia, and, an early mover position in the fledgling Indonesian unconventional industry via two completed Joint Studies and two Joint Study Applications. Lion also have an active new business program targeting producing or near term producing assets.

Lion’s leadership team has vast experience and proven track records in the Asia-Pacific oil and gas industry, particularly Indonesia. In its 2014 recapitalisation, two Indonesian strategic investors, Risco Energy and Tower Energy, became substantial shareholders of the company.
