PETFORM (Petroleum and Natural Gas Platform Association) was founded on September 15, 2000, under the leadership of domestic and foreign companies operating in the exploration, production, processing, storage, transportation, and refining of crude oil and natural gas, as well as in the import and sale of natural gas.
Since its inception, PETFORM has played a key role in conveying private sector concerns to authorized public institutions regarding all legal regulations required in Turkey's energy sector. PETFORM has actively participated on behalf of the private sector in the development of necessary legislation for the energy sector, particularly the Natural Gas Market Law and the Turkish Petroleum Law.
