Maersk Offshore Wind is owned by A.P. Moller Holding, whose purpose is to invest in and build businesses with a positive impact on society. The founder, Arnold Peter Møller, called this ‘Nyttig Virksomhed’, and this has been at the heart of the company for generations.
Originally developed in-house at Maersk Supply Service, Maersk Offshore Wind builds on a long legacy of maritime capabilities, safely operating large offshore assets and delivering complex offshore projects involving large assets. Their people have many years of experience within the wind industry, and also bring a wealth of transferable knowledge from the offshore energy sector more broadly.
