Petroguin was createdin June 1986, in its capacity as Representative of the Ministry of Natural Resources, and is responsible for the legislative and fiscal regime for exploration and exploitation of liquid or gas hydrocarbons on the continental platform and the Economic Exclusive Zone of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
