NSAI announces that Richard F (Rick) Krenek, P.E. has been appointed by the Society of Petroleum Engineers International (SPE) Board of Directors to serve on the Oil and Gas Reserves Committee (OGRC) for 2022-2025. 

SPE's OGRC is responsible for maintaining and updating the internationally-recognized Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS) and carrying out other programs dealing with oil and gas reserves and resources matters, including establishing recommended practices and standards as well as training.

Richard has also been highly involved in the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE) over many years, holding numerous committee chair positions, serving on the Board of Directors, serving on the Executive Committee, and acting as President of that international organization. The SPE and the SPEE carry out important missions related to estimating oil and gas reserves and resources, a key aspect of NSAI's business.
