22/01/2019

OEG Offshore (OEG) – Which specialises in the design, build and rental of specialist A60 cabins and cargo-carrying units to offshore oil and gas markets, has reported new business for the A60 rental fleet worth more than £250,000 GBP ($320,000 USD) in 2018.

A significant number of DNV 2.7-1 A60 Zone 2 and Safe Area engineering cabins were mobilised to new customers for short & long-term rental contracts in the UK, Africa and the USA along with high specification bespoke units for sale.

Standard A60 cabins are available in a wide range of sizes and layouts and are hired by a variety of energy related companies across the supply chain, with the most common requirement specifying office or control room layouts. OEG Offshore also support customers offshore with experienced technicians providing vital experience during contract.

Several upgrades and options are also available including bespoke-outfitting and laboratory equipment. OEG’s range of cabins with separate geological and laboratory area are ideal for Logging while Drilling (LWD) and Measurement while Drilling (MWD) applications which are popular with the well service sector. All cabin layouts are designed to optimise workspace efficiency, personnel safety and built to withstand the most hostile offshore and marine environments.
