Aukera Announces Commercial Operation of 37.6 MW UK Solar Projects

15/05/2026

Aukera announces that two UK solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, Ledwyche Solar in Shropshire and Crays Hall Solar in Essex, have reached Commercial Operation.

Together, the projects add 37.6 MW of new renewable generation capacity in support of the UK’s long-term energy security and decarbonisation objectives.

Ledwyche Solar (12 MW) and Crays Hall Solar (25.6 MW) form part of Aukera’s UK construction programme, financed under the £135 million senior debt facility secured with Deutsche Bank and Rabobank. The facility supports a portfolio of five UK solar PV and BESS projects totalling approximately 250 MW, reinforcing Aukera’s capability to finance and deliver utility-scale renewable infrastructure at portfolio scale.

Pascal Emsens and Catalin Breaban, Co-Founders of Aukera, said:
“The commissioning of Ledwyche Solar and Crays Hall Solar marks another important milestone for Aukera in the UK. These projects reflect our focus on execution – progressing assets efficiently through financing, construction and into operation within a disciplined delivery framework. As additional projects move into operation, we continue to scale our operating portfolio in line with the UK’s long-term energy priorities.”
