TROIS Geoconsulting today announces the completion of the reprocessing & merging of 9,309 sq kms of legacy 3D seismic datasets in the Lower Congo Basin of Angola, covering Blocks 1, 2, 3 and the New Gas Consortium area.
The project, which is fully funded by the industry, re-images gas and oil fields ahead of production in 2026, as well as de-risk exploration and appraisal targets.
The input surveys, which include both OBC and Streamer, have now been reprocessed using the latest technology:
- Bespoke de-noise workflows
- 3D SW-SRME
- 4D/5D interpolation and regularization
- AVO compliant outputs with amplitude fidelity QC
- Multi-Survey Velocity Model Building sequence (Anisotropic High-Resolution Tomography and Diving Wave Refraction FWI) followed by Kirchhoff TTI PreSTM / PreSDM
