Gneiss Energy has been engaged by The Parkmead Group for the farm-out of its 100% interest in the Greater Perth Area (“GPA”) development project in the UK Central North Sea.

GPA is one of the North Sea’s largest undeveloped oil projects and is fully appraised, having flow tested at up to 6,000 bopd of 32-37 deg. API oil. The core Perth field holds ~55 mmboe P50 resources, and the wider GPA project has the potential for 75-130 mmboe P50 resources.

Projects like the GPA play an important role in underpinning the UK’s supply of energy and its energy security during the transition to net zero, and Parkmead is in the process of initiating a net zero study.
