RPS Welcomes Will Emtage as Associate Director for Sustainable Business & ESG

08/01/2022

RPS has announced the appointment of  Will Emtage as Associate Director - Sustainable Business & ESG.

With over ten years in sustainable finance, Will is experienced in developing business models that unify environmental, social and economic impacts. He joins RPS with a consultancy background having advised a diverse client-base spanning social impact funds, local authorities, energy companies, corporates and financial institutions.

Will’s role at RPS will be advising clients on the best methods possible to improve their ESG credentials, and assisting financial institutions in their ESG due diligence and engagement processes.

Will comments:
“RPS commands market-leading expertise across each of the areas that underpin ESG concerns. I’m thrilled to be here and have the opportunity to identify key areas of growth and new client service offerings through an ESG lens.

“We’re in a fantastic position to recognise key opportunities, which from a commercial perspective is very exciting. This was one of the principal reasons why the move here was particularly attractive.”

Will is based in the Company's London Farringdon Street office, sitting within the Environment Team.

Jim Carlisle (Operational Director) comments:
“Will’s appointment is a fantastic strategic hire for the business. His knowledge and expertise in ESG and sustainable finance will take us to the next level in our UK advisory services.

“His passion to be a thought-leader, and use natural capital and nature-based solutions (NbS) to alleviate physical and financial climate risks will be a huge asset for us and in turn our clients.”
