Angus Energy Commencing Work on Pipeline at Saltfleetby

09/10/2020

Angus Energy provides an update on the timetable for the extension of its pipeline at Saltfleetby.

Satisfaction of all planning conditions was agreed this week with Lincolnshire County Council and the Company has instructed contractors to commence drilling and trenching works on the pipeline extension to the National Grid Theddlethorpe Entry Point.

Contractors have already begun exploratory works and the principal heavy works are expected to be concluded by the 6th of November followed by tie-in of the ‘Golden Weld’ to National Grid. This is the point where the newly laid pipeline (an Angus asset) is connected to the National Grid owned infrastructure. Backfilling of testing and access pits is also expected to be completed during the remainder of November.
