Arrowdawn shortlisted for customer service accolade at Northern Star Business Awards

18/09/2020

Leading networks and communications firm Arrowdawn has been named a finalist in the prestigious Northern Star Business Awards.

The specialist has been shortlisted in the Customer First category at the awards which are organised by Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce. The gala event is due to take place on Thursday, March 11 (2021) at the P&J Live venue.

Gordon Adie, managing director at Arrowdawn, said:
“The business has been built on a relentless commitment to customer service over the past 20 years. It’s fitting, therefore, that this has been recognised in the Customer First category of these highly-respected awards.

“Everyone connected to Arrowdawn has played their part and worked extremely hard to ensure that we deliver a consistent and valued service to our clients. We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award.”

Arrowdawn, which supports more than 300 client offices across 25 countries, has won a series of contracts in recent months as firms sought out additional support and maintenance of existing infrastructure. Projects included global voice and data monitoring, support and maintenance of communication solutions and VoIP phone support, monitoring and maintenance.

The firm also replaced existing network and infrastructure for a client in the aerospace industry. A leading energy services company brought Arrowdawn on board to provide global network support at a key operation in the United States; a law firm required support for the installation of a new company-wide phone system and a global industrial services business required multiple project support.  Arrowdawn also provided a new communications hub for a large Scottish port.

Arrowdawn, a Cisco specialist and Fortinet partner, delivers a broad range of network services and communications products and services to customers including strategic consultancy, data network infrastructure, wifi connectivity, VoIP and security solutions. The vast majority of its services are delivered remotely - a specialism that has come to the fore in recent months due to the pandemic.

The company specialises in the integration and migration of customer networks, particularly those requiring connectivity between multiple sites on a global scale. In addition, it has separated and integrated networks for clients following merger and acquisition activity.

Arrowdawn provides proactive 24/7 maintenance and monitoring support to clients with direct contact to an engineer rather than a call centre. The business was established in 2000 and provides its services across a broad range of markets including energy, professional services and the voluntary sector.

This year saw a record 130 nominations submitted for 12 the categories in the Northern Star Business Awards.
