MCR announces the availability of the new NOVAR & ZEPON PreSDM MC3D reprocessed seismic data sets, regional interpretation and rock physics studies over the Vulcan Sub-basin for the 2020 Acreage Release evaluations.
Material size leads exist in a variety of structural and stratigraphic traps throughout the Paleogene to Triassic section.
Comprehensive data packages covering the Vulcan Sub-basin Acreage Release Blocks AC20-1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 include:
- NOVAR MC3D comprising 15,200 sq km of new Broadband PreSDM 3D reprocessed seismic data
- ZEPON MC3D comprising 2,458 sq km of Broadband PreSDM 3D reprocessed seismic data
- Molyneux Advisors updated regional seismic interpretation based on the NOVAR MC3D
- DUG petrophysics, rock physics and stochastic modelling study of 56 wells
The new data and studies will enable E&P companies to conduct a detailed evaluation of the under explored yet highly prospective 2020 Petroleum Acreage Release areas of the Vulcan Sub-basin.
