Floating wind is widely recognised as the next big wave in the renewable energy revolution with a market outlook of 16.7 GW by 2030, a figure which is set to increase as larger-scale developments come online. The fast-maturing technology can be deployed almost anywhere in water depths greater than 60 meters, which conveniently is where the world’s best wind resource is found.
