Nordsøfonden has signed an agreement to sell a share of Nordsøfonden’s gas production to Shell Energy Europe. The agreement applies to the period when the Tyra field is shut down for rebuild (mid-September 2019 to expected June 2022) and gas is only produced from the southern fields for export to the Netherlands.
The agreement was concluded on market terms and is expected to amount to around 40 millon m3 per year. A sales process has been completed with a number of bids received.
Shell Energy Europe has experience in gas trading on gas exchanges throughout Europe.
