Shearwater GeoServices has appointment of seasoned marine seismic industry leader Robert Hobbs as the new chair of the Board of Directors. He replaces Mr. Karl-Johan Gombrii who has been the chair of the Board since Shearwater’s inception in 2016.

Mr. Hobbs has 30 years of experience from the oil and gas sector. He served as the CEO of TGS-NOPEC, a leading international multi-client seismic company until 2016. Mr. Hobbs’ will commence as chair from 6 November 2019.
