James Fisher Offshore (JFO), a global provider of specialist offshore engineering solutions, has increased its oil and gas decommissioning activities in the Middle East with a new offshore platform jacket removal project in Saudi Arabia. The work will utilise its pioneering cutting solution which is capable of delivering significant time-saving efficiencies.

This extensive project, which requires two full spreads of advanced abrasive cutting equipment to be mobilised in support of a leading regional contractor’s jacket removal programme, secures JFO’s integral role in this critical scope of work well into 2020.

A regional supplier of ultra-high-pressure abrasive internal cutting solutions, JFO’s innovation has been well received – this new project comes in quick succession from a wave of recent regional scopes, with JFO continuing to broaden its decommissioning activities in the Middle East.

Offering enhanced accuracy and severing capabilities as well as proven time, cost and resource savings, the JFO system delivers benefits across subsea cutting scopes from piles and jackets, to well casings and well heads.
