Amplus Energy, an Aberdeen based floating production services company, has agreed to sponsor access to KeyFacts Energy's 'Energy Country Review' online resource for University of Aberdeen's Department of Geology and Petroleum Geology. 

In response to the challenge of recruiting new talent into the oil and gas sector, KeyFacts Energy has recently created an opportunity for companies to help university students gain a valuable insight into the industry from a global perspective.

KeyFacts Energy offers a subscription choice that includes an option to nominate a university anywhere in the world. In return, the nominated university will benefit from unrestricted access to the 'Energy Country Review' service. The scheme offers graduates an important insight into the oil and gas sector and promotes awareness of the global energy industry among the next generation of geoscientists and engineers. The initiative also offers the sponsoring company a chance to raise its profile within the all-important graduate market.

Feedback suggests that although well qualified and technically proficient when leaving university, post-graduate students often have limited knowledge about the industry they are joining. Regular access to ‘Energy Country Review’ will provide a well-rounded and ongoing overview of companies, news and key operational data together with an opportunity to identify and research potential employers.
