On April 4, 2019, the General Director of Zarubezhneft JSC Sergey Kudryashov took part in the meeting of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the President of the Republic of Angola João Lourenço held in Moscow. The heads of the countries have discussed the prospects of further development of Russian-Angolan relations and the acute issues of international and regional agenda, as well as  encouraging the interest of Zarubezhneft JSC in the establishment of business contacts with the Angolan partners.

Sergey Kudryashov has also held a separate meeting with the Angolan President during which they have considered the possible cooperation between Zarubezhneft JSC and the Angolan companies in the framework of joint projects in Angola.

In the course of the Angolan President’s formal visit the office of Zarubezhneft JSC was also visited by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Angola Manuel Domingos Augusto and the Minister of Natural Resources and Petroleum of Angola Diamantino Pedro Azevedo. The Company has presented its capacities for the development of mature fields both onshore and offshore Angola.

The covenant on further elaboration of opportunities for the implementation of projects in Angola in cooperation with the Angolan companies has been reached under the results of the held meetings.
