Island Drilling has received contract from CNOOC Petroleum Europe Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of CNOOC Limited, for drilling two wells on the British side West of Shetland The contract has a duration of 60 days firm and options with start-up in June with drilling due to start is the second quarter of 2019.
CNOOC Petroleum Europe Limited is the operator of the Howick license with 100% ownership.
