Greenvolt Next UK, part of Greenvolt Group, the leading specialist in renewable energy solutions for the commercial and industrial sector, has expanded its Europe-wide partnership with Marq Logistics, a global leader in the development and operation of modern logistics facilities, formerly GLP Europe, by completing a new rooftop solar installation at one of Marq Logistics’ largest UK sites, Magna Park Lutterworth in Leicestershire. The milestone was commemorated at an inauguration event on site on May 28th, 2026, attended by the companies’ representatives as well as Alberto Costa, Member of Parliament for South Leicestershire.

Bleckmann, the logistics experts for fashion & lifestyle, recently leased a major distribution centre at Magna Park Lutterworth. The facility was opened to support Bleckmann’s growing operations in the UK, providing a modern, efficient warehousing and distribution capability within one of the country’s most established logistics parks. The warehouse has been designed to meet high sustainability standards, achieving BREEAM Excellent accreditation and EPC A+, while supporting scalable logistics operations for Bleckmann’s clients.

For this project, Greenvolt Next UK installed 1,310 photovoltaic panels across the rooftop, delivering an installed capacity of 589KWp. The system has the potential to generate around 518MWh of renewable electricity per year and is expected to avoid approximately 235 tonnes of CO₂ annually, helping reduce reliance on grid electricity and lowering the site’s operational emissions.

This project follows the 1.2 MW installation recently delivered by Greenvolt Next UK at the Marq Logistics site in Milton Keynes.

In addition to initiatives in the UK, Greenvolt Group has also partnered with Marq Logistics in Germany to deliver 10 rooftop PV installations totalling 23MW across multiple logistics assets, providing on-site solar energy to Marq Logistics’ tenants.
