13/02/2019 - American Electric Power announced that its competitive renewable energy subsidiary signed an agreement to acquire Sempra Renewables LLC and its 724 megawatts (MW) of operating wind generation and battery assets for approximately $1.056 billion, including $551 million in cash, assumption of $343 million in existing project debt and $162 million in tax equity obligation. 

11/02/2019 - Leading controls technology company Proserv announced the acquisition of SGC Metering from Petrofac. SGC Metering is a specialist in the design and manufacture of flow computer metering systems for the oil and gas industry. SGC provides expertise right across the full life cycle of a metering project, including conceptual design through to installation, operations and maintenance.

11/02/2019 - WellConnection Group, a leading Norwegian inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) company has acquired Peterhead-based Independent Oilfield Services (IOS) in a deal which marks their entrance into the UK market.

11/02/2019 - Coro Energy signed a binding conditional agreement as it takes its next step in building its portfolio in SE Asia through the acquisition of an interest in the Duyung Production Sharing Contract ("PSC") in the West Natuna basin, offshore Indonesia which contains the Mako gas field.

01/02/2019 - Chesapeake Energy completed its acquisition of WildHorse Resource Development Corporation. The merger was previously approved by Chesapeake shareholders and WildHorse stockholders at special meetings held on January 31, 2019.

31/01/2019 - Talon Petroleum entered into a binding heads of agreement for the purchase of 100% of the shares in EnCounter Oil. The acquisition is the second transaction executed by Talon, as the Company looks to build on its newly incorporated UK North Sea strategy. 

30/01/2019 - The boards of Medco, Medco Global and Ophir have reached agreement on the terms of a recommended acquisition pursuant to which Medco Global will acquire the entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital of Ophir Energy in a deal valued at approximately £390.6 million.

21/01/2019 - Genel Energy reached agreement to acquire stakes in the Chevron operated Sarta and Qara Dagh blocks, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. 

11/01/2019 - Equinor and Chevron completed their transaction announced in October 2018, whereby Equinor has acquired Chevron’s 40% operated interest in the Rosebank project in the West of Shetland region of the UK Continental Shelf.

04/01/2019 - TAG’s shareholders approved the proposed special resolution regarding the arm’s length sale of substantially all of TAG’s Taranaki Basin assets and operations in New Zealand to Malaysian-based Tamarind Resources Pte. Ltd., and certain of its subsidiaries.

03/01/2019 - Eni enters into agreement to acquire 70% and operatorship of the Oooguruk oil field in Alaska from Caelus Natural Resources Alaska LLC. Eni already owns the remaining 30% working interest.
