Sheret Energy Offshore (SEO), the Aberdeen-based strategic consultancy, has announced the promotion of Andrea 'Andie' Moonie to the role of General Manager. In her new capacity, she will oversee the day-to-day operations of both the core offshore energy advisory business and its affiliated cultural project, Finn Moray.
The appointment marks a significant operational expansion for the firm, which was founded in early 2025 by Chief Executive Officer David Sheret and Executive Chairman Graeme Wood. Operating from Neo House on Riverside Drive, SEO provides specialist guidance on growth, transition, and value creation for leaders in the offshore energy sector.
Moonie, who holds a Postgraduate Diploma BSC from the University of Edinburgh and a Postgraduate Diploma from the UO, brings more than fifteen years of marketing, communications, and operational expertise to the position. Her background encompasses digital marketing, search engine optimisation, and strategic communications, having previously held the role of Sales and Marketing Manager at Archer Knight alongside the SEO founders.
The dual nature of the General Manager role reflects the distinctive structure of SEO. Alongside its energy consultancy services, the company also operates Finn Moray, a social‑compact music initiative that finds Scottish talent to sing the songs and returns fifty percent of net profits to Scottish community causes. The project, started in honour of Sheret's late father, has gained recent attention, championed by legendary BBC Scotland presenter and broadcaster RICHARD GORDON, with three featured artist‑singers already in place and an April Fools’ Day “singer reveal” featuring Aberdeen FC legend Willie Miller MBE.
David Sheret highlighted the value of their long-standing professional relationship and Moonie's consistent performance across multiple ventures.
"Andie has been a rock in both my last company, Archer Knight, and now SEO. She deserves this promotion and has all the ability and attitude to continue to rise as we do. I am delighted for her."
Graeme Wood, Executive Chairman and co-founder of SEO, echoed this sentiment, emphasising her operational impact on the firm.
"Andie makes things happen. Her drive and intelligence are really important to SEO, and I am looking forward to seeing her shine in the new role."

For Moonie, the promotion represents an opportunity to drive operational efficiency across two distinct but complementary portfolios.
"I am genuinely thrilled to step into the role of General Manager at such a pivotal time for the business. Managing the daily operations of both our offshore energy consultancy and the Finn Moray project presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities. My focus will be on ensuring that our team delivers robust, independent analysis for our energy clients, while simultaneously supporting the social and cultural ambitions of Finn Moray. It is a privilege to work within an organisation that values both commercial rigor and community impact."
The promotion is effective from Monday 13th April , positioning SEO to further its global ambitions in the offshore sector while maintaining its commitment to Scottish communities.
