The Task Force's Subsurface Skills Group have created an information pack, aimed at students from school to post-graduate level, exploring pathways into energy geoscience employment. 

It covers the spectrum of energy geosciences and is copiously illustrated with dozens of individual career stories illustrating career evolution and progression, along with links to video interviews with working geoscientists. It includes explanations of the main sectors and employer types, salary and benefits data, and where to get more information.

A key message is that core geoscience skills and knowledge provide the flexibility to move between different subsurface sectors and applications.This is clear in many of the individual careers illustrated in the pack, showing geoscientists playing key roles in enabling the energy transition.
