C-Tecnics have relocated their headquarters to new premises at 266 Auchmill Road, Bucksburn, Aberdeen AB21 9NB, expanding their operational footprint to support continued growth in demand for their engineered subsea equipment and systems.

The move from their former Bridge of Don base sees C-Tecnics operate from a new 535 sq. m (5,762 sq. ft) facility, providing significantly increased workshop and production space and effectively doubling operational capacity, alongside modern office accommodation. The additional space allows C-Tecnics to bring more manufacturing and development activity in-house, strengthening their engineering capability and supporting higher production volumes.

With operations across both the UK and Norway, the company's Aberdeen headquarters serves as their primary engineering and manufacturing base. Demand for their subsea imaging cameras, lighting systems, and video and communications equipment continues to grow across offshore energy, defence, marine science, and survey markets. Their new premises in Bucksburn will support the delivery of projects across ROV, diving, and underwater operations, while enabling faster development and testing of new products.

Commenting on the move, Managing Director Scott Younger said:
“Although we remain a relatively small business, we have built a strong portfolio of engineered products and a highly skilled team. Moving into these new premises gives us the space and facilities to do more in-house, shorten development cycles, and maintain close control over how our equipment is built and tested.”

The expansion also creates capacity for future growth in both personnel and capability, with the new facility supporting the continued development of the company's engineering and operations teams.

Mr Younger added:
“Being based in Aberdeen, with operations in the UK and Norway, places us close to our customers and the wider subsea supply chain. Approaching our twentieth year in business, this move reflects both how far the company has come and where we want to take it next.”
