The Energy Institute Aberdeen, Highlands & Islands Branch has announced that Judy Murray OBE will headline its 2026 Annual Dinner, taking place on Thursday 21st May at the Macdonald Norwood Hall, Aberdeen.
The Annual Dinner is the flagship event in the Branch calendar. Every year, it brings together professionals from across oil and gas, renewables, energy transition and the wider energy supply chain for an evening of insights, networking and industry reflection.

Judy Murray will deliver a dedicated Leadership Insights Masterclass, offering perspectives drawn from her distinguished career in elite sport. Renowned for developing high-performance athletes and building successful teams under pressure, she will explore themes including resilience, adaptability, talent development and leadership, topics highly relevant to an energy sector navigating transformation and growth.
The evening programme will commence with arrival drinks at 18:00, followed by call to dinner at 18:45. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal in the historic surroundings of Macdonald Norwood Hall, with a Highland or Formal dress code. Carriages are scheduled for 23:30.
In addition to Judy Murray’s keynote session, attendees will hear inspirational growth stories from Steve Gray and Stuart McLeod (StuMac) of advanced technology venture studio Ventex, who will share insights on innovation, scaling businesses and driving entrepreneurial success within the evolving energy and technology landscape.
