Score Granted Fit For Offshore Renewables Status

03/02/2026

Peterhead engineering company, Score Group, has been granted Fit for Offshore Renewables status following successful completion of the Offshore Renewables Energy Catapult’s Fit for Offshore Renewables programme. This recognises that Score has been independently assessed and is operationally and strategically prepared to support the offshore wind supply chain.

The Fit for Offshore Renewables programme is designed to strengthen the capability and competitiveness of the UK offshore renewable energy supply chain. It supports organisations as they build the knowledge, systems and processes required to enter and grow within the offshore wind sector, both in the UK and globally.

The F4OR status demonstrates that Score understands offshore renewable energy requirements, meets industry expectations and is ready to compete for and deliver work within the offshore wind market. For developers and Tier One contractors, Fit for Offshore Renewables status signals reduced supply chain risk and commitment to quality, capability, and continuous improvement.

This milestone builds on Score’s existing Fit for Carbon Capture Usage & Storage (F4CCUS), Fit for Hydrogen (F4H2) and Fit for Nuclear (F4N) statuses and reflects our long-term commitment to supporting the energy transition. It also marks an important step in an ongoing improvement journey, as the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult continues to work closely with Score to identify opportunities for further development, innovation, and growth.

This achievement reinforces Score team’s readiness to apply expertise, to the offshore renewables sector, supporting the delivery of safe, reliable and sustainable energy solutions.
