Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Cadigan at the age of 67 on Monday, January 5th, 2026.
He is predeceased by his wife Kimberley and parents Daniel and Alice Cadigan of Logy Bay.
Leaving to mourn loving daughter Alicia; long term partner Maria Hardy and her children Colby and Brianna Young; sisters Kathy Inkpen (Steve), Agnes Mallay (Kevin) and Ann Flynn (Craig); brother Daniel Cadigan (Dianne); and many nieces and nephews.
Bob's love of life and adventure was unparalleled. He was a lifelong adventure motorcyclist and completed many excursions through interior Newfoundland, the Trans Labrador Highway and most recently a 20,000km tour throughout North America.
Whether sledding with close friends on Newfoundland's West coast, mountain biking on rugged trails, camping trips, walking the dogs in Pippy Park; Bob was always planning for the next adventure. He could regularly be found swimming at many ponds in and around St. John's. Bob took great delight in reminiscing with friends over a cup of coffee or weekly get togethers at The Duke.
Bob enjoyed a successful career in the oil and gas and insurance industries. He had a strong interest in politics and community affairs. His love of Newfoundland and his community led him to volunteer for the Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove town council.
Many thanks to all his friends for their help, love and support during this past year.
