Global rig and well control equipment specialist ModuSpec has signed a partnership agreement with Quantum Energy – an Abu Dhabi-based energy services company – to accelerate its growth strategy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

ModuSpec has a long-standing history of supporting clients in Abu Dhabi and across the wider Middle East region. This new strategic partnership will enable the company to further expand its local service provision by combining its international expertise with Quantum’s strong in-country presence and network.

“Abu Dhabi is at the heart of our growth strategy,” said Liam Pirie, ModuSpec’s Business Development Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Having already developed a strong track record locally, we recognised the importance of having a local partner on the ground to enable the expansion of our services to all prospective clients. Our collaboration with Quantum will enable us to engage more closely with NOCs, IOCs and drilling contractors, offering stronger local delivery and greater alignment with regional objectives.”

ModuSpec has built a strong reputation in the Emirate recently, providing technical due diligence in relation to asset acquisitions, as well as more conventional rig intake and inspection projects. Plans are now in place to grow its technical training and HSEQ services in the region following recent contract awards, with the deployment of its real-time monitoring (RTM) platform anticipated to kick-off in 2026.

Mark Watson, ModuSpec Regional Director, commented:
“Quantum has already proven to be a proactive and responsive partner and we have been impressed by the dynamic business development support delivered in a very short space of time.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Quantum to the network of trusted, reputable partners we have in other areas including Egypt and Qatar and look forward to working with the team to continue strengthening the ModuSpec brand and increase local awareness of the full portfolio of services we offer.”

Bouchra Mrabeti, Chief Executive Officer for Quantum, added:
“We are proud to partner with ModuSpec as part of our strategy to align with global leaders in technical excellence. At Quantum, we are committed to facilitating world-class services that support ADNOC’s and the UAE’s vision for energy innovation, safety and sustainability.

“This partnership will allow us to bridge ModuSpec’s international capabilities with our local reach, delivering higher value to clients and driving forward technical training, HSEQ services and digital rig monitoring solutions. Our in-depth understanding of the local ecosystem, strong ADNOC pre-qualification across multiple categories, and commitment to national development goals make us an ideal partner to support ModuSpec’s expansion in the region. Together, we will not only elevate industry standards but also contribute to the UAE’s In-Country Value objectives.”
