PNE Sells Two Wind Farm Projects in France

28/10/2025

  • “Clermont-en-Argonne” wind farm is being taken over by JP Energie Environnement
  • “Genouillé” wind farm has been purchased by Sorégies
  • The sale underscores the importance of the French market for the PNE Group
  • Further sales processes are well advanced

The PNE Group continues to succeed in the French market and has completed the sale of two premium wind farm projects.

The “Clermont-en-Argonne” wind farm in the Grand Est region has an installed capacity of 14.4 MW. The project was developed by PNE France, brought to construction readiness and sold to French IPP company JP Energie Environnement in July. Construction started in September 2025. Commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2026. They will build and operate the wind farm.

The “Genouillé” wind farm, which PNE sold to the French energy player Sorégies, is located in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The wind farm has an installed capacity of 11.3 MW and has been in operation since July 2025. It was developed and built by PNE France. The PNE Group will operate this project on behalf of Soregies through its subsidiary energy consult France, thereby strengthening its business in France.

Alaïa Advisory advised and supported the PNE Group in both transactions.

“We are delighted to have found two buyers who are as committed to the expansion of renewable energies as we are,’ says Heiko Wuttke, CEO of PNE. "Together, we are making another important contribution to the energy transition. At the same time, the sale underlines the importance of the French market for the PNE Group. The sale of both projects once again demonstrates the high quality of PNE France's work.”

With the “Sundern-Allendorf” wind farm, PNE has now successfully sold three projects in the second half of this year. Further sales processes are ongoing. ‘Project sales are progressing as planned, so we continue to expect that we will meet our guidance for 2025,’ says Heiko Wuttke.
