Pacific Canbriam Energy has successfully drilled and completed a new record-setting horizontal well in its Altares & Kobes assets in the Montney formation of northeastern British Columbia.

Key Highlights

• The well achieved a measured total depth (TMD) of approximately 8,332 metres, marking the longest well ever drilled in the Montney region.
• The extended-reach horizontal section underscores Pacific Canbriam’s engineering capabilities, efficient drilling execution and commitment to maximize resource recovery while reducing surface disruption.
• This achievement supports the Company’s strategy of deploying longer laterals on fewer pads, thereby increasing subsurface access while reducing the number of surface well sites and associated infrastructure.
• The well was drilled within the Company’s fully-owned infrastructure network, allowing for streamlined operations, lower cost structure and enhanced environmental performance.
