Consortium Drilling have formally submitted a bid for the production drilling phase of the St. Kitts and Nevis Geothermal Power Project, a flagship initiative under the Federation’s Sustainable Island State Agenda (SISA), developed by the The Government of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
This project represents a significant step toward energy sovereignty, climate resilience, and a cleaner, more sustainable future for the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Alongside four other internationally recognised companies, Consortium Drilling were part of the formal bid opening led by the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States OECS.
If successful, Consortium Drilling will commence work at Hamilton Estate, Nevis, helping unlock the island’s geothermal resources to deliver a 30 MW baseload renewable energy plant. This development is expected to provide clean, affordable, and reliable electricity for generations to come.
Consortium Drilling CEO, Stuart Sinclair, commented:
"We are proud to be considered for this transformative project and remain committed to supporting the global energy transition with safe, efficient, and sustainable deep drilling expertise.
Congratulations to the The Government of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Nevis Island Administration, and Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States OECS for their leadership in advancing geothermal energy across the region."
