Kathrin Günther Appointed CTO of TenneT Germany

Kathrin Günther will join the Executive Board of TenneT Germany effective 1 September 2025. As Chief Transformation Officer (CTO), she will oversee key functions including IT, Digital Transformation, HR and Corporate Security. 

The appointment of Kathrin Günther marks another important step in the organizational realignment of the TenneT Group. Since 1 January 2025, TenneT has strengthen its national focus and is now working in two independent organizations, TenneT Netherlands and TenneT Germany, both of which are part of the Group under a holding structure. This new organizational setup is a prerequisite for potential further investor involvement in TenneT Germany.

Manon van Beek, Chair of the Supervisory Board, stated:

Kathrin Günther has many years of management experience in building and scaling digital business units in the industrial and IT sectors. Most recently, she was Chief Operating Officer (COO) of GFT Software Solutions, a subsidiary of GFT Technologies SE and an international provider of IT and software solutions, where she was responsible for the global software product business. Kathrin Günther combines deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial vision and transformational leadership skills.
