C&C Reservoirs Announce Latest DAKS™ EOR Content Release

18/06/2025

Discover 12 new and updated EOR Evaluation Reports from across the globe in C&C Reservoirs latest content release. Packed with valuable insights into EOR strategies, our reports provide clear, in-depth documentation on how specific EOR methods impact production performance, serving as powerful analogues for benchmarking your own projects.

Highlights include:

Cambridge Field (USA) – Alkaline-Surfactant-Polymer (ASP) Flood
An economic and technical success, this chemical EOR project targeted 31 cP oil and achieved an incremental recovery of 28.1% STOIIP, with a cost of $4.07 per barrel of incremental oil. Integrated geological and reservoir engineering studies, laboratory tests, numerical simulations, optimal facilities design, constant performance monitoring and effective operational maintenance all contributed to the project success.

East Binger Field (USA) – Nitrogen Miscible Flood
With nitrogen utilization at 4.5 MCF/BO, this project demonstrated that poor sweep efficiency in area was the primary factor causing nitrogen cycling and limiting oil recovery. This project proved fracturing simulation to be effective for achieving commercially productive rates and is expected to achieve an incremental recovery of 14% STOIIP.

Nimr Field (Oman) – Polymer Flood
This EOR pilot achieved an incremental recovery of 6.6% STOIIP and a polymer utilization of 1.8 kg/BO through the injection of a 0.75 PV polymer solution. The pilot demonstrated the feasibility of polymer flood under a strong bottom aquifer drive for heavy oil (viscosity of 450 cP). Smart completion with inflow control valves (ICVs) enabled the polymer solution to be distributed uniformly along the wellbore.

Sudeerte Field (China) – CO₂ Miscible Flood
By the end of 2015, this CO₂ miscible flood project had achieved an incremental recovery of 1.9% STOIIP, with a CO₂ utilization of 5.2 MCF/BO. The pilot demonstrated that the CO₂ miscible flood performed higher injectivity and sweep efficiency than waterflood in the low-permeability (1.12 mD)  Xing’anling reservoir, justifying its subsequent expansion to a block-wide commercial test.
