Quadrupling in North Sea Work Helps EuroES Double Turnover

30/05/2025

A leading independent access, inspection, and maintenance company has doubled its turnover to £3 million in the past year, thanks in part to a significant uptick in North Sea work.

Euro Energy Services (EuroES), which is 21 years old this year, has seen a recent quadrupling of North Sea projects which has sparked a recruitment drive to add three new technicians to the firm’s 50-strong Aberdeen-based knowledge pool.

In addition to strides forward in traditional markets and geographies such as the North Sea, locally owned EuroES has also seen a hike in business from key target sectors such as the food and drink industry, including distilling where decarbonisation initiatives have placed their expertise in demand.  In the utilities sector, the company’s leading scaffolding services are already in demand, and it is hoped that leveraging existing relationships will further increase service capabilities to include non-destructive testing (NDT).

EuroES works closely with client project teams, the company provides solutions across several disciplines including scaffolding, specialist access systems, NDT, Inspection, hydro testing and heat treatment services.  The company prides itself on adopting a mix of approaches which can be used in a bespoke way to exceed client expectations, offering more choice and a greater range of solutions.

Commenting on recent growth, CEO Darryl Anderson said:
“As one of the oldest companies in our sector, it is important that we leverage our unparalleled corporate heritage to fulfil a careful strategy of targeted expansion by geography and sector.  This is already paying dividends and allows us to chart a course towards future sustainable growth in our chosen markets.”
