Sound Energy Interview with Graham Lyon, Executive Chairman

30/04/2025

Sound Energy are an AIM-listed Morocco-focused gas developer and explorer. For the first time in their existence they have 10 million dollars in the bank and a fully funded carry on their 20%-owned Tendrara gas pipeline project, which is where the majority of the revenue lies. In addition they have a fully funded carry on two nearby gas and oil exploration wells (27% owned) and a 20% share of the virtually first-gas ready LNG plant at Tendrara in Morocco which will be revenue generating in 6 months.

Tendrara is the biggest gas discovery in Morocco, and the project comes in two phases. The LNG plant, operated by ManaEnergy and serviced by AfriquaGaz, is virtually built, with first gas due in Q4 2025.

The second phase, also operated by Managem Group, is for a ‘gas to power’ pipeline which links into the regional GME gas pipeline. A Final Investment Decision is expected there by the end of the year.

Sound Energy Executive Chairman Graham Lyon was joined for a detailed fireside chat by Donald Leggatt from Ticker TV.
