THREE60 Energy Celebrates New Office Opening in Teesside

On Wednesday, 26th March, THREE60 Energy hosted an opening event at their new Teesside office located in the BizHub in Billingham. The event was attended by 50 delegates representing a diverse range of companies in Teesside, including suppliers, potential partners, and industry bodies.

During the event, Alasdair Smith, Managing Director of THREE60 EPCC, expressed his excitement about the potential opportunities that the new office in Teesside would bring. He emphasised his eagerness to engage with the local supply chain and his commitment to being a contributing member of the community. As part of this commitment, THREE60 has already sponsored a local football team, Guisborough Town Under 9’s, by providing their winter training coats.

Joanne Leng, CEO of NOF Energy, delivered a keynote speech during the event. She shared her enthusiasm about welcoming a company with such extensive experience in the energy sector to Teesside. Joanne highlighted the recent investments in Teesside, such as the Net Zero Teesside initiative and the Teesside Freeport status award, which are attracting major players to invest in the region and open up new opportunities for the regions economical growth. She stressed the importance of collaboration on energy transition initiatives while also acknowledging the significance of the oil and gas industry in the North Sea and related industries in the UK.

THREE60’s expansion will offer the local market a leading, agile, and flexible solution provider to address customers Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) needs and challenges. By establishing a new office in Teesside, THREE60 will bring its extensive expertise in EPCC and Operations Management to support the region’s ongoing industrial and economic development.

Alasdair Smith commented on the strategic importance of the Teesside office, stating that the investment in Teesside is a testament to THREE60’s commitment to providing innovative and flexible solutions to meet the evolving needs of their customers. The new office will enable THREE60 to utilise the highly transferable skills of its team while also providing increased exposure to interesting and alternative energy and industrial sectors.

The evolving market in Teesside will benefit from significant investment in numerous clean power developments, as well as the ongoing operation of the existing plants and facilities, presenting a substantial opportunity for THREE60 to expand its footprint across the UK and access new customers and skilled resources to build on and develop the team already working from the new Teesside office.
