Denholm Energy Services Limited (DES), a leading international provider of maintenance, fabrication, environmental, engineering and logistics services, has successfully completed the acquisition of Mechanical On-Site Services (MOSS) through its Relay Engineering Limited subsidiary from ICR Integrity Limited.
This strategic transaction aligns with DES’s growth strategy in the defence and energy sectors and allows ICR’s continued focus on its core service offerings and internationalisation while ensuring that MOSS, a well-established provider of on-site services, continues to thrive under new ownership.
The seamless transition for MOSS ensures continuity for its workforce and clients while reinforcing Relay’s position as a leading provider of engineering solutions across multiple industries. Being part of a larger group will facilitate MOSS’s future growth plans.
Over the years, ICR and MOSS have successfully delivered a bundled service offering to customers, integrating ICR’s specialist integrity solutions with MOSS’s on-site mechanical services. This successful collaboration will continue under a bespoke agreement, ensuring that clients continue to benefit from the same seamless, high-quality service delivery that they have enjoyed in the past.
Michael Beveridge, CEO of Denholm Energy Services, commented:
“We are delighted to welcome MOSS into the Relay Engineering and Denholm Energy Services group. The addition of MOSS strengthens our specialist on site service capabilities, enabling us to further enhance our offering to clients. We look forward to working with the highly talented MOSS team and integrating their expertise into our wider operations.
“MOSS is a strong strategic fit for Relay Engineering and the wider Denholm Energy Services group. The ongoing collaboration with ICR also provides a platform for future growth opportunities and offers continuity for our communal customer base. All staff will be retained as we look to grow the business across our existing network.”
Relay Engineering, with its extensive expertise in engineering solutions across multiple industries, including defence and energy, is well positioned to support MOSS’s future growth plans.
Jim Beveridge, CEO of ICR Integrity, added:
"This divestment represents a positive step for both ICR and MOSS. We are pleased that MOSS will now be part of Relay Engineering, where its capabilities can be further developed.
“We are confident that Relay Engineering’s industry expertise and resources will provide an excellent platform for MOSS’s next phase of growth. MOSS has been an important part of our business, and we are incredibly proud of the value we have created together. This divestment aligns with our strategic focus while ensuring continuity for customers through our ongoing collaboration. We look forward to working closely with Relay Engineering and MOSS to continue delivering integrated solutions."
