AF Gruppen has received a letter of award for a decommissioning contract from Scaldis Salvage & Marine Contractors NV. The project will involve the engineering and offshore preparation, of 3 bridge linked platforms for removal on the UK continental shelf. The agreement has an estimated value of 100-125 MNOK excluding VAT.
The engineering will start imminently with offshore preparation activities planned for Q2 2026. The weight of the topside structures is approximately 6,500 metric tonnes.
